2008 Summer School Registration & Enrollment Information
 
Q: Who may enroll?
  • Elementary and Middle School students who are not proficient in reading or mathematics according to DC BAS and report card
  • Students in grades 9 through 12 who need two or fewer Carnegie units to be on track for promotion or graduation
  • Students who need to take or retake classes to be on track for graduation
  • Students eligible for Extended School Year (ESY) and/or Compensatory Education (CE) as written in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Students eligible for English Language Learner (ELL) services (select this link for more ELL information:)
  • We have a limited number of summer school spots for students who have completed kindergarten. If you are interested in registering for Kinder Scholars, please send an email to dcpssummerschool2008@dc.gov.

Q: Is attendance free?
 
Any child whose parents or guardians are residents of the District of Columbia may attend our academic summer programs at no cost. DC residents that attend non-DCPS schools must contact the Summer School office at dcpssummerschool2008@dc.gov. All non-residents must pay the required tuition fees.
